XSi - the Ideal choice for a Canon Rebel SLR camera

Bookmark and Share

The Canon Rebel XSi is my first digital SLR, and I've been using for about three months. I must admit it was a little cautious about how to get a new camera, but I've always wanted Canon cameras already used ELAN II in high school. Two years ago I bought a Canon SD600 and was happy with it. So far, this camera Canon SLR Rebel not disappointed me yet. XSi Rebel lens IS wonders on my shots. If you are planning to get a Rebel XSi, as well, but it is going to have second thoughts, here are some pros and cons that hopefully they can help you decide.

Let's start with the battery life. XSi battery is incredible. I could take more than 5,000 images and the battery was only low twice. The Live View function, contrary to what many people think, is not a substitute for point and shoot. For example, cannot be used the function view live in automatic mode, which makes it not as user friendly for beginners. The function is most suitable for professionals such as landscape photographers and those who do Studio work, because it can connect the camera to the PC and use it for remote viewing.

As for picture quality, I have to say that I have achieved in the taking of photographs in Studio and outdoor settings. When I was in the Studio, I used tungsten lights in the subject for a white background. The picture quality was great; the tones of perfect skin and very little chromatic aberration around the edges. I got into book keeping recently, and I thought taking pictures of first levels of bees would be a good way to test the quality of outdoor shots. I was not disappointed. At all. The camera captured these sharp detail although the objective is a little short. Images were large, taking into account the lens only cost $100.

However, the Canon rebel SLR is solid, feels sturdy, not too heavy nor too light and fits right in the hand. If you're looking for a great camera and you're not limited by your budget, the XSi is the way to go. The Rebel XSi can be a bit too expensive by the standards of some people, but I say that it is it worth every cent single and you will have quality photos to prove it. If you don't mind to wait a little longer, you can expect that its price down by what they can spend the money on accessories or additional lenses instead.

It get the perfect camera, is never an easy thing, especially with the technology digital is changing constantly. Fortunately, there are a lot of useful sites online, which may restrict your search and help you find the camera with all the features important to you.
