If you ask me what is the best camera that would have to say the Canon Power Shot A70 Digital camera is at the top of the list. I have owned mine for five years without any problem, it's definitely a great camera little with 3.2 megapixel camera and a 3 X optical zoom. At the time I bought it, was the highest rated camera at the time of $400 bucks.
I've been looking for a new camera update the A70 [still fine works remain for a spare] after months of researching and reading reviews there is 2 camera that can live up to my expectations. The first is the Digital camera Canon Power Shot s51s and the second is the a620. Both are highly qualified and very friendly.
The a620 is compact and lightweight with a redesigned slender offering 7.1 mega pixels...4 X optical zoom and the exclusive Digic II processor and a 2-inch LCD screen.
The s51s is also very compact and lightweight and easily fits in your pocket. Offers 8 mega pixels 12 X optical zoom [this is one great advantage... actually you can extend until closing] and is equipped with the image processor Digic III with a variable angle of 2.5-inch LCD screen.
Both of these digital cameras Canon Power Shot they are in the range of $350 to $450 and offer exceptional value. As it will have already guessed that I will choose on the a620 s51s because you'll get almost 1 mega pixel more and a screen 2.5 inch LCD. But the main reason was the 12 X optical zoom.
