Do they have heard of all the recent problems that have experienced purchasers of the Canon PowerShot SD950IS? Do you know a problem? If it is not so, then your not looking hard enough. While his best friend or a family member may have recommended the SD950IS, does not mean only should run out and buy it. Every digital camera has defects, and can be a really great thing... or really insignificant treatment, depending on the person who buys the House. The point being, be honest with yourself about the advantages and disadvantages about any product before bombing their hard earned money. You'll be happier in the long run. Therefore, let us look at some problems with the SD950IS.

In approximately $350 for the SD950IS, to get quite close to the high end in the price of a point and shoot camera. Having said that, this PowerShot must take a very well, to convince me of not to upload an entry level SLR. It really does not have that degree. 12.1 megapixel may seem to some a guarantee of images, but it is not. If your not going to fly images to size poster and make a lot of crop, then nothing more 8 Megapixels is a waste. It could probably resign $150 and get a camera of mega-pixel 8 that has such good pictures.

Being a Canon point and shoot camera, Digital SD950IS unfortunately takes the feature of low capture quality images in anything less then full sunlight. It means probably underexposed will be any image you. Using the built in flash help, but tends to diminish considerably the mode of burst (number of photos you can take in a short period of time). If the camera has never blocked when trying to take a second image after losing a great shot, you know why the burst mode is important. A canon of $200 as the A570IS digital camera will take pictures as good as the SD950IS.

From an ergonomic point of view, the Canon SD950IS can be difficult to maintain the level and even more complicated to put on a flat surface. The latter is for use of the timer. One of the engineers of design more in Canon apparently believes a camera in the shape of a jelly bean was a good idea. While it may be unusual, stuck sometimes in the old square format tested and true is really the best.

These problems may seem sufficient to talk about him buying a digital Canon SD950IS, but here are a few more than anyway:

-photos taken more than 400 ISO show high levels of noise

-housing of the camera is very susceptible to scratching

-Too many blurry images for a camera in this price

-small buttons are clumsy for users with large hands

-steep curve of learning with menus

The biggest problem with the SD950IS is the price. For almost half the price, you can get a multitude of point-and-shoot cameras that works just as well. And, a couple of hundreds of dollars more, your look some near pro in the category of entry-level SLRcameras. Any point and shoot camera at this price, must walk on water. Not the Digital SD950IS.
