Now that the Canon 3ti has been a few months and people have had a while to use it, I thought you could summarize some of the points being discussed by people who now have the camera.
Weight
There are conflicting views on the weight of the T3i. Some people complain (perhaps complaining is a too strong word) on the weight. While other popular are saying that it is light. I guess that all depends of what has been used to use previously. The body of the camera is 18.2 oz / 515 g. The 18-55 mm lens is 71 oz / 200 g. So in total has 25.3 oz / 715 g. In any way what we call heavy, but I suppose that it may be heavier or lighter than what you have previously used. Perhaps with a larger goal and wandering around taking snapshots for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, may seem heavy. I am thinking that I could handle! Beats working. More agree on is that he feels right in your hands. It is easy to hold and the grip is comfortable.
LCD screen
The ability to pan and tilt the LCD seems to be a winner. Many people love the ability to easily see the shots with the camera at unusual angles. He talked about all kinds of shooting. Tilt through balconies, lifting the upper House to shoot over peoples heads. Down to Earth without being directly behind the camera. (saves on the back and knees!) Even shooting from a tripod largely just tilt the screen up so you don't have to crouch down check the trip each time. Tilt Swivel screen is also demonstrating great for video footage. To take some of these shots without the inclination of the rotating screen would have been near impossible or completely blind shot and waiting for a lot of good luck. While for years this has been a boom in video cameras, there is no many cameras DSLR cameras that have. Every DSLR quality publishes draws closer and closer they Need for a separate video camera.
Image quality
Some people are really excited by the quality of the image. Many old point and shoot camera users now have a 3ti and flipados with the quality of the image, the clarity and balance of the photo. Some more experienced DSLR users are enjoying the ISO (100-6400) range and are impressed by the low light shooting ability. Some photos taken without flash in low light levels were very impressive. The 1080p video resolution has others excited and I am sure that there will be some great post image capture video with great results. Just be careful with your choice of memory card. Class 10 (10 MBps) or greater is reporting as the best for video recording.
In all 3ti Canon EOS Rebel DSLR seems to alternate winner. It is a great camera at a reasonable price, offering excellent value for money. It can be simple or a complex used as one wants. Its just fantastic the capacity and quality of the technology that we have in our world. This is often assumed perhaps.
