Does canon ? Is Rebel right for you?

When considering a Canon Rebel T4i VS T3i, first impressions can be misleading. In this case, the T4i seems practically as a copy of the older T3i. But when examining the new digital SLR camera in more detail, you will find some amazing changes.

Changes abound

It is time to get up close and personal so you can appreciate the differences between the new and the old. However, before entering the techy things, there are some things to note in the body of the camera. You will need to find the name on the front of the camera to know that the rebels it really is. Look at the top of the camera and notice that there is a slightly different from the latest DSLR mode dial.

You can see two new mode selections. They are "Hand Held Night" and "HDR with backlight" mode.

"Hand Night" is kind of explanation. The user can apply this selection when the light levels are too difficult.

One of the most popular features for the new models is HDR. The photographer gives a series of 3 shots, change the exposure of each shot, and then combining them into a single image of "High dynamic range". The sudden popularity of HDR makes this a highly desirable feature for many camera buyers.

"Nuts and bolts" are optimized

The addition of a new image DIGIC 5 some of the latest features processor has made possible. Canon has not improved the processor for quite some time, but the claim is that the 5 DIGIC has "four times the DIGIC 4 processing power."

That goes back several years and models, Canon Rebel T4i has the same size, the 18 megapixel CMOS sensor. Similar 18-megapixel sensors inhabit the bodies of models such as the Canon 60 D and 7 D.

Despite being the same size, it is a little different. "Hybrid AF CMOS sensor" does an impression of you? Enhanced technology adds performance significant continuous focus in Live View and video detection, as well as facial. All the new and improved features this has impacted my personal opinion of the Canon Rebel T4i VS T3i more.

Here is a first in Canon. LCD touch screen technology is the novelty of vanguard for the Canon rebel T4i. This is very cool, and will convince some of you tekky people with iPhone - as actions as I pinch to enlarge and go through his images by moving your finger across the LCD. Not only that, now can select settings for the touch. You don't have to learn which button to push or which direction to use the myriad of switches on the right side of the LCD screen.

The ISO sensitivity has also been updated. In the T3i, ISO max is 12800, but in the T4i that number doubled to 25600.

Improved performance

Continuous shooting speed is another important update. Continuous shooting speed is how many images the camera can record per second. Faster rates facilitate actions shots. Here are the numbers: 5.0 fps for the T4i and 3.7 fps for the T3i.

A new system of approach that includes cross type points vs 9 approach only for the T3i is another impressive improvement. It would seem that an element will push the T4i to a field of play with the 60 D... just saying '. (I'm not an expert, just a casual observation)

Three elements of video have been improved.

Firstly, as already mentioned, one now has the ability of continuous AF.
The second point also has to do with the approach. It is "touch-screen" focus in video mode. Simply touch the point on the screen that you want to be the main focus, and the camera does a great job of keeping that focus point.
In addition, there are also better audio input. Now there are two stereo microphones repositioned higher on the camera to pick up much better sound. The cameraman can also set the input level sound, something new for a Canon Rebel camera.

You may need a rebel now?
