Specifications: Canon PowerShot SD890 IS is a compact camera's point-and-shoot digital designed for rapid gunfire and occasional use. This model can take images with up to 10MP resolution. It has a 6.6-33 mm lens and 5 x optical zoom. This model can also shoot movies in AVI format with up to 640 x 480 resolution. For previews of photos, you can use the optical viewfinder or the large 2.5-inch LCD screen. Ships with a battery pack of Li-ion, a memory card of 32 MB, charger, USB cable, AV cable, a belt and manuals.
Design: The new Canon PowerShot SD890 is weight in 5.5 ounces and measures 3.8 x 1.1 x 2.2 inches. Compared to its predecessor, the SC850, sports a sleek new design and curves. This new model has rounded more edges. The right side of the House tapers, creating a very elegant appearance. The optical viewfinder is located just above the screen.
Features and performance: In addition the dial in traditional way, the new Canon PowerShot SD890 is now includes a scroll wheel to navigate through the menu. Although the idea of a wheel is quite cool, it seems somewhat slow and does not seem to be very accurate. Shot to shot time is 2.5 seconds, which is a little slower than many of its competitors. However, as many Canon cameras, the image quality was quite good, with accurate colors and major exhibitions. The quality of the videos recorded in this model is also very good. Unfortunately, you can use the zoom feature during the recording of videos. However, I'd give 3 stars and 1/2 digital camera PowerShot SD890 is Canon (more five-star).
